I love your booklist. I haven't read any of the books on your list yet - but I am sure that I will soon. I've been trying to come up with a good way to review the books I read. I really like the way that you do it so I hope you don't mind if I use a similar template. You guys are great!

One other book you definitely should both read is Wallace Stegner's "Angle of Repose." Great story about faithfulness in marriage, and well written story of early American settlement. I like anything Stegner writes, but this is my favorite.

My other recent favorite is Steinbeck's "East of Eden." I find Steinbeck much more understandable than Hemingway (no offense, Ben!), but his themes are deep and his books have many layers.

Just my two cents! Thanks for reviewing books. Makes me anxious to read more. I'm in the middle of "Their Eyes Were Watching God" right now, and I think I'll go read some more!

A little while ago I read "Amonth of Sundays: My Search for the Spirit and My Sister" by Julie Mars. It was really good. It's a true story about a woman (Julie Mars) who's sister dies of pancreatic cancer and she goes to a different church for 31 Sundays in a row (a month of Sundays) to find the spirit. It's pretty interesting. Also I've read all of Mitch Albom's (Tuesdays with Morrie) books lately. They're interesting too. I think I liked "For One More Day" the best.
