Description: Sherlock Holmes takes on one of his most challenging cases yet. In this adventure, a mysterious hound that lives on the moors of northern England has haunted the Baskerville family for years. When the next Baskerville heir inherits the family estate, Holmes must solve the mystery of the hound before it strikes again.
Thoughts: This story came with The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, so I listened to both of them together. The Hound of the Baskervilles is a longer Sherlock mystery, spanning several chapters rather than being contained in a single one like most of Holmes' adventures. And, I quite liked the slower build up and the added mystery than can be achieved with a longer story. The plot itself was a great one, I felt, and it kept me guessing up until the end. All in all, this is probably my favorite Sherlock Holmes that I've read. A really great story!
