Description: Jason Bourne wakes up on an island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea with no memory of who he is...or was. His body is riddled with bullets, and he finds he has skills that no average person should have: he can handle a gun, speaks several languages, and can easily blend in to any environment. He must find out who he is, but at the same time part of him just doesn't want to know.
Thoughts: This book was pretty much as expected: no real deep insights, but it's a real page-turner and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really couldn't put it down, and found myself reading way too late at night on several occasions. I'd compare it to something like The Da Vinci Code. I'll definitely read the other two books in the series soon. Also, I didn't feel like having seen the movie ruined the book at all. The movie has the same premise as the book, but they are sufficiently different that both are pretty enjoyable in and of themselves.
Disclaimer: Lots of violence, some swearing.
