Description: Not sure this one needs much of a description. Little Women is the classic story about four girls coming of age in a little New England town. Together, they learn tough lessons about life and what it truly means, with much guidance from their loving mother.
Thoughts: I didn't expect to really love this book, since I'm not really the target audience. And, overall, it was about what I expected: entertaining, good plot, lots of great morals, but just not really intriguing for me. I think the issue was that there wasn't really a character that I connected to, and since I already knew the basic story there just wasn't much that captured my attention. I do have to say that the writing was better than I expected, which made the book pretty enjoyable. All in all, I'm glad that I read it (especially with Alcott's home just a few miles from our house!), and I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.
Disclaimer: Pretty tame book overall. :)
